Racetech has designed the fibreglass 4119 with driver ergonomics and ultimate safety in mind. Used by many professional teams at both national and international level in circuit, rally, drift, drag racing and offroad motorsport, the Racetech 119 is our ‘go to’ seat for all builds in the RRC workshop. There are four sizes available; Standard, Wide, Tall and Wide-Tall. The 119 series seats are compliant with FIA 8855-1999 standards *. Customise your race seat further with lower base cushions or add side cushions for support in the thigh area.

* To comply with FIA 8855-1999, the 119 series seats must be back-mounted to the rollcage at shoulder level. Back-mounting can be achieved using parts RTB2115B and RTB2005C, see instructions here. Back-mounting improves seat strength and stability during an impact, increases driver 'feel' and reduces driver fatigue, see the video here. The RT4119HRW passes FIA 8855-1999 without a back-mount and can be installed using side mounts only.
