Aero loads can cause a vacuum that is able to pull windows and doors open, causing in the worst cases catastrophic damage to the door of the car. This window latch kit is designed to provide a clamp load at the top of the door window to resist this vacuum and keep the window/door closed.

The kit contains 2 helicopter style latches, 2 U shaped pieces of tube that can be welded to the roll cage/chassis as an anchor point and fasteners to attach the latch to the window.
