If you are sick of having your crew person struggle with your window net, or have got stuck in your car due to a tricky mechanism, this could be the product you are looking for. This system ensures one handed release of the net, even when blindfolded (or in the absolute worse case if there is a fire). The safety crews will also be able to gain access to the driver quickly and easily in the event of an accident due to the high visibility red tag that is pulled from the outside to release the net. This style of window net release is now mandatory in NHRA Pro Mod, and FIA Pro Mod and Pro Stock, but is a great addition to any race car.

We have supplied kits for street/strip cars, road rally cars, Pro VW cars, import cars, Top Sportman/Comp Eliminator as well as Pro Mod. The window net release kits we have put together include the release system itself, 4130 bracketry to mount the unit and the upper tube in the roof of the car, 3’ (approx. 900mm) of 0.500” OD 4130 tube, and associated hardware.

We now offer 3 types of window net release, the Safecraft ‘Big Red Button’ for horizontal mount window nets, the CJRC pin type in horizontal mount style and the CJRC pin type in vertical mount style. The CJRC kits are ideal if you are short on space or if you require a vertical mount kit.
